CHARTER PARTY 2007

Thanks to Everyone for a great Charter Party event. There was so many involved in making this Charter Party so successful. As the takeover chairman, I really want to express my thanks to John Baker for taking care of purchasing the lobster tails and steaks and providing the bar-b-que. A special thanks to the cooks outside, Chuck, Ken, John and Joe. I believe grilling the lobster tails was very successful. A tremendous thanks to Judy and Roger Bier for handling and serving the food inside. Their helpers inside were Kay, Eva, Joyce and guest Sherry. The music was provided by Bruce Curley. And last but not least, the dealers, Keala, Greg, Mel, Paul V, Gary and Roger. I believe everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you, Paul C for providing the blackjack prizes. And the three big winners: 1st place to Bruce B, 2nd place to Joyce and 3rd place to Judy.

This is the day we celebrate the founding of the Almaden Valley Rotary Club. Almaden Valley Rotary was chartered May 9, 1969. So this day, we celebrated our 36th year. We lost one of our charter members to the Sacramento area this year, Earl McIntosh but we still have four charter members, Bruce Bondelie, Fred Eberle, Ray Lester, and Bill Smith. Congratulations to each one of them.
