CLUB ACTIVITIES

Charlie Wedemeyer All Star Football Game
Each summer the best football players who have graduated from the Santa Clara County high schools are chosen to play in this pretiguous gridiron contest. Fun for the whole family. Proceeds from the game are donated to many local charities and international projects.

Almaden Valley Art and Wine Festival
Each September the best Polish and/or Italian sausages are prepared for those attendees of an Almaden event which features good food, wine and art in the fresh air and sunshine.

Bocce Ball
A great time on a Spring evening in Los Gatos of competition and a buffet dinner.

Bowl-A-Thon
Fill out your pledge sheets and enjoy a Spring afternoon of free bowling. The better you bowl, the more the fun and the more the contributions to your favorite charities.

Cambrian Oktoberfest
An October event that was previously in August featuring great beers served to folks enjoying a variety of arts and crafts. BBQ and free live music. Pony rides and petting zoo provide fun for the children.

Rotary District 5170 Conference
Members and spouses enjoy fellowship in April with members from other clubs in the District. Interesting speakers, seminars, and partying are enjoyed by all.

Golf Tournament
An annual event which occurred in September and was co-sponsored by the Almaden Valley Rotary Club and Youth Focus. It included a day of golf at Cinnabar Hills Golf Course and dinner and raffles during the evening with proceeds allocated to Youth Focus and other local charities.

Kids Fishing Day
A weekend in May, a local reservoir is stocked with fish and opened only to children for a fun two days of catching fish and winning prizes.
