BOWL-A-THON 2000

For some reason two Bowlathons occurred in the year 2000, March and November.

November 2000 Bowlathon
Roger Hassler was in charge of the BOWL-A-THON held on November 18th. Roger had a new twist this year in the form of a pool similar to a football pool along with the standard signup sheets. Everyone who attended had a good time whether they bowled or not and enjoyed the food and drinks.

Roger announced the winners of the Bowl-a-thon "pool" at the Christmas Dinner: Gary Exberger, 3rd place; Nancy Collins, 2nd place; and Kay Bandanza, 1st place

March 2000 Bowlathon

Our Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser for the Sisters Family Program is on March 25th. Be there either to bowl or for the fellowship.

The bowlathon occurred and Almaden Valley became the proud sponsor of a number(?) of Sisters Families

Sister Families coordinates the efforts to offer a new life to abandoned Brazilian children.

The chairman is Loren Harper of Warm Springs and his committee consists of: Carolyn Schuetz and Flo Stafford.

The commitment is for any one year at a time. You will be notified at the end of the 12 month period in the hope that you will want to continue with the program.
