ALMADEN VALLEY ART & WINE 2006The Almaden Valley Rotary again served root beer floats at the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival at the Almaden Lake Park on September 17th. We closed down a little past 5:00pm having sold some 370 root beer floats. The early crew showed up at 8:00am and set up the booth and we began selling floats at 10:00am. The business is slow until 12:00pm and stays pretty busy throughout the afternoon.Rich Flynn setup a couple of tables with drinks just across the lake for members to gather.
